I
fell in love with the Labrador breed in the late 1980's. Through
the 4-H program, we were given puppies to raise for Guide
Dogs for the Blind. As puppy raisers, we were able to take
our guide dog puppy to the store, mall, church, and many
other different places. Two of the puppies we raised, passed the
rigorous training and were matched with a blind person. The
third puppy was put in the breeding program at Guide Dogs for
the Blind in San Rafael, California.

A
few years later, in 1994 after we moved to Missouri, we
began breeding our own Labradors. We are most
concerned about breeding quality Labradors, by following
the breed standard and having excellent pedigrees. In 2001,
we purchased our first show puppy. I fell in love with showing labs,
and have been hooked ever since.
After raising and showing Labradors that we have purchased from
great show kennels, we are now breeding our own show
puppies. I am very excited about the puppies we are producing.
Our goal is to produce quality, all around Labradors, that
perform well in the field, show ring or as the family pet. Thank
you for your interest in Meadow View Labradors.
